Congrats on your new home! As well as unpacking all of your belongings, there are a few extra bits to add to your ‘to do’ list:
Make sure you have set up all your utilities like water, gas (if applicable), electric, council tax. Meter readings will be on your inventory and you should doublecheck those when you move into the property. The suppliers will be on the move in information sent to you on move in day.
Make sure you have set up your renters insurance if you wish to protect your belongings and savings during your tenancy. Speak to our in-house advisor [email protected] for more information.
Check your new home thoroughly against your inventory as you have 7 days to approve / disapprove this.
